This type of modality is characterized for the radicalism and the maneuvers of high degree of difficulty, executed for few pilots in the entire world.

The pilots, beyond being obliged to surfar the waves carrying through similar maneuvers to the executed ones for surf peaples, during the competition, in order to obtain good notes, also make maneuvers of high visual impact.

Above we list the main maneuvers and its explanation, supplied for the champion of the Jet Waves 2003, James Visser.

Launching - Pushing your ski through the shorebrake.

Water start - Getting aboard your ski in the waves, as quickly as you can.

No hander - Jumping the wave and taking your hands off.

No footer - Jumping the wave and taking your feet off.

Nose grab - Grabing the nose of the ski in the air.

180º - Jumping the wave and landing facing the beach.

Can can - Taking both your feet off to one side while in the air.

Super man - Taking both feet off behind you while in the air.

Heel clicker - Wrapping your legs around the handle bars and touching your feet together.

Nothing - Letting go both your hands and feet in the air.

Cordova - Placing your feet under the handle bars and looking back at the beach.

Cliff hanger - Placing your feet under the handle bars and letting go with your hands.

Mac metz - Pushing your feet through the handle bars and letting go with your hands.

Seat grab - Throwing your feet behind you and grabing the seat with one hand.

Side kick - Thowing your feet out to one side and grabing the seat with one hand.

Side winder - Placing both feet on one side of the ski and letting go with your hands.

Barrel roll - A complete side ways 360 spin. know too for touneau.

Back flip - A complete 360 invert.

Top turn - Wave riding, turning of the top of the wave like a cut-back.

Re-entry - Wave riding, riding the wave, launching of the lip and landing back on the wave.
