Leandro Ademir Vieira was one of the five judges of 1st Stage of Free Ride Championship 2006 in Portugal. He told to INEMA how was his participation and recommends all the Brazilian Free Riders to participate in this competition.

A French, an American, a Portuguese, a Spanish and the Brazilian representative Leandro Ademir Vieira integrated the team of judges of 1st Stage of Free Ride Championship 2006 in Portugal. In the second competition as a judge Leandro undoes the stigma that this is a simple task. Organization, impartiality, punctuality and knowledge of the foundations of the sport are some of the demands that he should proceed for the accomplishment of its function. According to him final result rewards any type of physical effort: "It is tiresome but gratifying".

Leandro was invited to participate of the competition due to the satisfactory acting as judge in the Brazilian stage of Free Ride last year. The revenue for his good performance he already knows: "I usually try to be calm and to execute my task well". This requests to analyze the "quality, creativity and width of the pilots' maneuvers".

The punctuation given to the competitors divides concisely in "50% for the surf and 50% for the jumps". However, this year some changes were specified in the rules of the event. "At first healthy points Mexican ballads and later the four first classified they make the final", illuminates Leandro.
