More two foreign rider are in Florianopolis to participate of Freeride World Championship's fourth and last round (maneuvers with jet ski on the waves), it's will happen in Vila Beach, Imbituba/SC, in November, 24th and 26th 2006.
One of them, Brazilian public already knows, Romain Stampers that is fourth in the Stand Up class (jet on foot) in World Championship and has math conditions to fight for the title. "For me it's the best championship's competition and this year the technical level will be very high because some good riders will be here", says Stampers.
The French disputed three rounds before and got a fifth, second and fourth place, respectively in Portugal, Spain and France. Romain arrived in Brazil for São Paulo and came until Florianopolis by car, making a tour in Brazil's south coast, he told that saw beautiful landscapes. "I like so much of come here, because the beaches are so beautiful. The people are hospitable and receive very well the foreign people. Next Wednesday I'm going to Imbituba to start my trains in Vila Beach and prepare me for the World Championship final" finished Stampers, playing that want win the Brazilian like in soccer during the World Cup.
Who came to Brazil for the first time is Chirstophe Darthayette that participated in three rounds before, too, and is getting better your development and results in each round. Dartayethe finished in 14th in Portugal, 11th in Spain and 9th in France. "I want keep rhythm, go on better and maybe fight for a podium's place in Brazil" says Christophe, 10th in Stand Up's class. Christophe starts trains in Brazilian's sea when finish the review and mounting of his jet ski.
This week will must arrive two French, yet: Pierre Maixent, actual world champion and Gil Beurnier, second and third place at championship. Pierre has 53 points and Gil 49. The leader in Stand Up class is the Italian Federico Buffachi with 57 points. In this class, compete the Brazilians Alessander Lenzi, which won the first round in Portugal and couldn't compete other rounds, Ivo Sehn Neto e Douglas Carvalho.
The 8th Jet Waves, fourth and last round of Freeride World Championship will be from November 24th to 26th, in Vila Beach, Imbituba. The supervision is of IFWA and Motoaquatic Federation of Estado of Santa Catarina (FEMOASC). The event's sponsor for Malwee and Yamaha with support of Government of Santa Catarina, City Hall of Imbituba and ProNáutica Jet Ski.<
