The Brazilian pilot Bruno Jacob tells about his participation in the 2007 Free Ride World Championship. The third round happend on April 28 and 29, in France.

In Portugal, his first international test and the first test of the 2007 Free Ride World Championship, Bruno found odd the jet and the lacks of waves practices, and was eliminated early of the competition. He told us how was his participation in the rounds of Spain and France, first and second round of the world championship.

"I arrived on Wednesday that preceded the competition in Spain by train and on Friday I went to train with Xan (Alexandre Sampaio). It did not have waves in Spain, but as we have had competed in freestyle, we could do perfect performances in the smooth.

On Saturday, based on organization chart of batteries man-man I had to face my trainer! End of the day, emotion battery for all the public. Two Brazilians faced in the eighth finals. Without a doubt one of the most vibrant batteries to the public, but the experience prevailed and Xan won. But I was satisfied, I won the white letter and two Brazilians got the classification. On Sunday I had a good performance, but I lost to a French very experienced, but for me I was good, I had evolved a lot since my first time one week before.

When the Spain round was over I had to go to France with me mechanic Dego and the Italian Andréa Bergamo. When we arrived in Montalivet a deception was waiting for us: there was not anything opened, a hotel, internet. We had to stay the first night in a hotel on the road. In the other day me and Dego stayed without car, because the Italian did not want to stay there anymore. We stayed with the bags walking on the city hehehe.

Then surged our salvation, Jimmy Visser. He helped us, we called to the organization and obtained a place to stay in a police establishment. Only on Friday me jet would be back, and me and Dego stayed all the week helping Jimmy on the trains. On Friday I trained in the afternoon. I was more confident. On Saturday I was in the eighth finals, but lost to the champion Ross Champion, and to complete my out of luck, my director broke. I am satisfied with my results. My first time on Free Ride, with the top riders of the world and being on the 15 World Top. I obtained an experience that does not have price.

I thank all the organization of European Tour, that was very good, Tchello by all the support and attention, Dego, Dente, all my pilots partners from Brazil, Ivo, Xan, Leandro, André. Jimmy, that until now is with me and will lead me to Lisbon, I came with him from Montalivet, 14 hours of travel.
