It happened on Friday, September 07, the first day of competition of 9th Jet Waves World Championship, in the beach of the Brave, Itajaí/SC. it Checks how it was!

The first day of the competition began with the cloudy time. At 9hs and 30 minutes happened a training of the pilots to the noon. The sea was with waves of one to two meters and all the pilots had the chance of becoming warm for the competition.

At 1:30 PM was made a quick meeting with the pilots, proceeded by the opening ceremony and the traditional photo with all the pilots and the team of organization of Jet Waves.

Soon after already the pre-classificatory batteries began, where of 20 registered pilots they will leave 12 classified to dispute with the 8 better placed in the general punctuation of the championship. On Saturday they will happen the classificatory ones, where 10 will come out classified, of these 8 they will go to the octaves of final.

In the sand was possible to see the friendship among the Brazilian pilots and pilot come from of United States, South Africa, Germany and France that are also participating at the event. Always after the batteries the pilots gave the hands and they congratulated each other for the performance.

The afternoon went in a climate of complete excitement and expectation, so much on behalf of the pilots as of the great public that populated the beach of the Brave during the whole afternoon.

A lot of pretty people passed for there and could check beautiful jumps. As the sun decided to come, in the middle of the afternoon the beach was replete of curious people to see the best free riders of the world to make a show.
