The competitor with more experience of life of 9th Jet Waves that happened of the 7 to September 9, 2007, in the Brave beach, in Santa Catarina, is lawyer Celso Garcia. Know a little more about this guy who has a lot to tell us!

The age is the less important factor in the practice of sports when you do what you like. That is the oldest competitor's case and without doubt the most encouraged of the 9th Jet Waves Championship, the lawyer Celso Garcia, 56 years old. With passing of the years he discovered the free ride in Balneário Camboriu, in Santa Catarina/BR. The sport a form that he found to get rid of all the stress due to his work.

The largest incentive for the jet-ski practice the ex-president, Fernando Collor de Mello, that popularized the sport in the decade of 90, was actually when he ridded jet-ski in national net. Celso believes that is out of his time, since he is uncommon free ride apprentices with his age. He lives in Blumenau/SC, and every weekend go to Camboriu/SC, where he has another house.

He had some problems with the family, that in a first moment didn't accept Celso's sporting choice. But the time went passing and they became aware that didn't have way, because he was already impassioned by the free ride. Unassuming that the choice was completely out of the middle that he lives, since he is consultant president of OAB of Blumenau.

In the routine of the Law, he constantly lives together with the emotion. And that is not different with the jet-ski, and the one that he has is not for ride, it does be for the emotion. He is part of the Association Group of the Waters, that counts on twenty participants that meet for the practices of the jet-ski, like this everybody always has company to tan the free ride and to exercise the spirit and the body, to free.

Until the moment, in the practice of free ride, he never hurted himself. But so that nothing wrong happens he takes care of every details, as the feeding, physical prepare, he doesn't drink any alcoholic drink, exactly for that last one to influence deeply in the pilot's balance that can end for hurting in a maneuver if he is not very concentrated and sober.

That 9th edition is his third participation. The first was in 2000, later in 2004 and on this year. He says that, in his opinion the organization of the event was perfect. He believes that Brave Beach has been the best choice of the place among all the competitions that he participated. He is only in Jet Waves to participate and to have fun, he doesn't participate to compete and to collect, especially because the jet-ski that he uses is a normal jet, he didn't make any modification, and Celso has the same jet since the beginning, he was bought on November 15, 1995.

The jet still firm and strong, same him having losing a little of the force of the motor with passing of the years. He says that to be a free ride competitor you have to like of adrenaline because he doesn't have way, the sport is pure emotion. He participates since 200, less in the last year of the championship from Santa Catarina and of the South American of free style.

He says that in the atmosphere of the competitions he makes lots of friends. He believes that the main difference of the free ride for the other Brazilian competitions is the greatness of the event that involves people of several parts of the world. Unassuming that the championship is very more emotion, so much for the public as for the competitors. The adrenaline and the emotion are very larger.
