The freerider is participating in the 9th Jet waves, that happened between the 7 and September 9, works as merchant and the floor of jet-ski began in 1998. Already in the competitions he began in the Championship from Santa Catarina in 1999, and in the Brazilian championship of 1999 he was the vice-champion. As most of the athletes of the area, he began to ride jet-ski free style.

The Jet Waves, for him, is always wonderful. He already participated other three times of the championship, in 2000, 2002 and 2006. He told us that for him the organization is satisfactory, becoming Jet Waves in a wonderful championship. This year has a differential that is the quality of the waves that are very good, but in the other years that he participated didn't have the same luck, since the waves were more or less.

The largest last time in the water, the different maneuvers and the competitors' courage is some of the main ones you differentiate of Jet Waves for the other free riders, according to Everardo. "We try to concentrate before the batteries", he says on the expectation before accomplishing to enter in the water to compete. He believes that the preparation for the competition is of extreme importance for the pilots' safety, so that nothing wrong happens with them, or even with the jet-ski.

Before anything else, a freerider must have courage to participate in a competition as Jet Waves, according to Everardo, because to make a back flip is necessary technique and the fear excess can harm. Unassuming the cares with the equipment have to be meticulous, because as the sport it is practiced in the sea, the damages are more intense.

He noticed a very big evolution in the pilots' level with the pass of the years, that are taking a risk more in the maneuvers in that edition, that are every time better. Unassuming the increase of the amount of participant pilots that come from outside of the country, foreigners. He gives the largest support to who wants to participate, he motivates saying that if be necessary catches a borrowed jet-ski, because this sport is very good and gratifying.

As he was involved in the restoration of his trade he didn't have the necessary time to workout and to get ready for the competition. He was stopped since five months a go, and he began to workout to Jet Waves just two weeks a go. He that lives in Florianópolis, in Santa Catarina, due to proximity of the place of the competition, didn't have any problem in the transport of his jet as some competitors had.
