The Brazilian freerider, Webert Hipolito, 37 years old, was one of the competitors of 9th Jet Waves Championship that happens at the Brave Beach, in Itajaí, in Santa Catarina's state, between the 7 and September 9, 2007. Check the profile!

Webert Hipólito, 37 years old, participant freerider of 9th Jet Waves, that happened at the Brave Beach, between the 7 and September 9, 2007, already participates of the championship there are about six years. He began the jet floor for fun, but after participating in the first championship he fell in love with the freeride and for the competitions and didn't stop anymore.

"The organization is very good, 10! The beach is amazing, the place is blinding". He says that is one of the best, except the best competition than he already participated. Unassuming that the weather collaborated a lot, so the competition has been a success. The waves were favorable for the freerider's practice and the sun was present in most of the event.

Jet Waves's difference for another championships is that in each wave is a different emotion, a different maneuver and unassuming that the championship is always innovating. He is technical in computation, and he didn't get ready as he would like because to lack of time due to the work excess. It is the trainings that they are for the weekends, about 4 hours.

The waves are wonderful, perfect and blinding, according to Webert. The choice of the Brave Beach to be headquarter of the competition was the best choice among the three times that he participated. He believes that foreigners have more easiness to participate in sports as the freeriders, therefore the access to the equipments is easier and cheaper, besides them to get sponsorship more easily than the Brazilians. He believes that fact is due the incentive lack. In the same way he doesn't have sponsor and all the costs in the championships, they are supported by him, that spends about three thousand real in a championship as Jet Waves.

Like he is walking in borrowed equipment because the one of him broke one day before him to come for the competition, his expectations are not the best with relationship to his acting. And in relation to the evaluation approaches he doesn't have anything to complain. He believes that who has the best preparation and equipment will do better in the competition. Besides the jet-ski he also ride motorcycle. He use to ride with more frequency before competitions.
