It happened of 07 to September 09, 2007, 9th Jet Waves World Championship, in the Brave beach, Itajaí/SC. Checks how was the governor's visit from Santa Catarina to the event!

Luís Henrique da Silveira, Governor of Santa Catarina, and Volnei Morastoni, Mayor of Itajaí, were checking the 9th Jet Waves, in the Brave Beach in Itajaí, in the morning of this Saturday, 8/9.

Besides checking the Jet-Ski prepared for the competition, disposed in the sand of the beach, Governor and Mayor met the structure of the event. They greeted the judge and the international media. Luís Henrique talked with the vice-president of IFWA, Portuguese Luís Fragoso, inviting the whole ones for visit Marejada, Portuguese party and of the fish. "It is a Portuguese party with certainty"; the Governor played.

"Santa Catarina is being firm more and more as a State of the Sport. They are several international events that have headquartered Brazilian phases here as tennis, motoring, surf, swimming, windsurf and also of jet-ski, generating employment and income for the people here", highlighted the Governor.

Volnei Morastoni completed standing out that the Brave Beach is a place that breathes sport. "Not only for the people from Itajai, but for everyone. A beach that welcomes several sporting modalities and for the city it is an honor to receive so many names of weight of Jet Ski world", comments the Mayor.
