It happened of 07 to September 09, 2007, 9th Jet Waves World Championship, in the Brave beach, Itajaí/SC. Checks how was the visit from a group of children to the event!

The visit of a group of students of the school Gaspar from Costa Moraes, of the net of teaching of Itajaí, encouraged 9th Jet Waves, that happens at the Brave Beach, on this Saturday morning, 8/9. They learned a little more of the Jet Ski world.

Tchello Brandão, president of IFWA, entity that administers the sport at world level, gave a small lecture together with member of the team of rescue of the event, giving orientations and information on the embarkation and on cares with the sea. "The jet ski has been helping to save many people in the beaches", it commented Brandão for the interested children that frequent among to 2nd and 5th series of the Fundamental Teaching.

Gabriel Oliveira, 11 years old, that is in to 5th series, saw a jet ski for the first time in the sands of the Brave Beach. He had only seen for television. "I liked to know that with the jet-ski less people die drowned", the curious student said.

Besides information on the embarkation and on the equipments of the pilot's safety, Tchello talked about environmental conservation. "The jet ski is the nautical vehicle that fewer pollutes. We should only throw in the water what the fish can eat", he explains. And Gabriel, "When I was 16 years old I want to ride a jet-ski ", he said.
