André Carvalho was one of the freeriders partcipantes of 9° Jet Waves World Championship, that happened at the Brave Beach, in the city of Itajaí, in Santa Catarina, between the 7 and September 9, 2007. Check how was his participation!

The free ride pilot, André Martins, 31 years, same not finding the more youth among the presents, he was encouraged with the championship. He was one of the pilots that competed in 9° Jet Waves World Championship that happened at the Brave Beach, in the city of Itajaí, in Santa Catarina, between the 7 and September 9, 2007.

Jet Waves is the 4th stage of the world championship of free ride, that already traveled Portugal, Spain and France, and André, besides the Brazilian, participated in the French stage. The sport, which began as a game, now is a motivation for the life, that he lives intensely.

He was the only that brought motorhome, a European philosophy, and he doesn't have anything to complain of the organization of the championship, that considers excellent. To be with the motorhome makes he happy because it is close to the competition and it is hot, motivated and he has larger concentration.

André, also well-known as Nego Dé, lives in Tubarão, but he has the second house in Florianopolis, also in Santa Catarina, where workout. In the first free ride test that he participated was very amateur, but now can count with Bydate, no financial because he is still looking for sponsorship, but as support.

The largest help gave him because André was placed with professionals and he can say that has conditions of disputing with them thanks to preparation of Bydate. "Today I am professional, now turns three that I participated again and I will not stop any more, only with the flare", increases. He gave right because in the accounting of points, he was in 9th place in the competition.

A freerider, according to him, needs to do the reading of the waves. It is a differential you to know to see the waves, to see them to arrive, to choose where they are breaking. Without forgetting of having a good coexistence vision with the surfers. A freerider is complete when he has that reading.
