"Of all the championships that I participated, this is the best, because of the condition of the sea, of the location, of the sun, of the holiday, of the public", he said about the conditions of the championship.

Everything collaborated for the success of 9th Jet Waves. Wilson, which competes for the 5th time, found everything 110%. He that would be happy in being among the first ones 25 placed, and they had 30 registered pilots, ended in 9th place in the counting of points of the category Stand-Up. Due to a surgery, he is without train almost one year and a half, unassuming that in Curitiba, where he lives, he is professional autonomous and the free ride is just a hobby, what impedes of being devoted as he would owe.

He believes that the people are going to prestige the event, that doesn't have as not liking and he says that is necessary a larger popularization of Jet Waves, because there is few people that know. "Nowadays it is one of the best events than I participate in free style and free rider", he complements. For while, the choice of the Brave Beach went to best of the championships than he participated. The competitors' level is high, very difficult for who is without training.

"In the jet waves you cannot think a lot, if you think you will be sorry in the hour of the wave and cannot make the maneuvers. Then you have to be much headier", he says on the difference of that in relation to the other championships. When he is in the middle of a maneuver doesn't go anything by his head, because it is very fast. The preparation for the competition was summarized to training before one day. Whenever he can, he train, but as he was resting of the surgery he couldn't workout strong.

Wilson says that a freerider: "he cannot be aware, because if he has, to think a little, he doesn't do. When he arrives in front of the wave is that hour or is not. And if you think, you return". During his career the only moment in that he wondered because he was practicing free ride, it was when he made his first back flip and he went to a side and the jet-ski it went to another. He says to be a free rider: "because adrenaline taste".
