Valmir de Andrade Júnior, 23 years old, is one of the freeriders that were competing in the 9th Jet Waves World Championship, that happened between the 7 and September 9, 2007, in the Brave Beach, in Itajaí, in Santa Catarina/BR. To him, the edition of that year was excellent, and the structure improved a lot.
After two years he competed again: "I adore, doesn't have way. People called me to return, I don't have how to be at home". Valmir already participated three times of Jet Waves and he was champion world in 2004. Out those, he already competed in the Brazilian championship, in the 'catarinense' and in the free ride from São Paulo.
For him, only in Jet Waves the adrenaline is going the thousand per hour. Actually, he believes that the best beach than the event was accomplished is the Brave Beach. "Excellent waves, doesn't have how to beat ", he says, enchanted with the place. Among the competitors, to every year that passes, the fight for the best placement is going being harder.
Valmir said that didn't have any preparation for the championship, because he went to the championship just for fun, to have a good time with the waves and friends. The jet-ski entered in his life, more or less, about four years ago and the last time that he had practiced free ride, before the championship, already did more than one year.
When he enters in the sea, he doesn't feel anything special, it is everything normal. He practiced motorcyclism, but he stopped and entered in the free ride world. He believes that, before any thing, to be a good freerider is necessary a good equipment, because that is essential.
