It happened of 7 to September 9, 2007, 9 Jet Waves World Championship, in the beach of the Brave, in Itajai/SC. Check the interview with the American pilot Mike Serlin!

For Mike Serlin the beach chosen for Jet Waves's accomplishment is amazing, he still affirms to have never been in a beach as pretty as the Brave Beach. Being in the first time in Brazil, he simply loved everything here, the food, the culture, and he can't wait to come back next year.

This pilot 25 years old says to have adored mainly the weather, because the temperature is exactly as the one of the city where he lives, in the south of California. "The waves, the climate, everything is helping so that all the pilots show a good surf, and everybody here is very cool", he comments. He feels very lucky for living close to the coast, then he can workout plenty the whole week.

He was not in Jet Waves' other editions, but he heard of the other competitors that the waves were not very good, a kind of small, "But on this year the waves are fantastic! And the view of the city on the back is blinding", he complements.

As well as other pilots, the jet-ski of Mike didn't arrive on time of the competition, "the Brazilian pilots were very kind lending their jet-skis so that we could compete, but it is not as ride our own jet ".
