Diocelis Vieira Júnior, 25 years old, was one of the freeriders that competed in 9th Jet Waves World Championship that happened between the 7 and September 9, 2007, in the Brave Beach, in the city of Itajaí, in Santa Catarina/BR. The event was involved by a lot of adrenaline and it pleased the pilot that was using for the first time in the competition.

"As is my first participation in a world one is already much more complicated because the pilots' level is very loud", the competitor says. He walks of jet in the category Sit-Down that has few pilots, what facilitates a little, since the pilot is also competing for the Brazilian Championship of Free Ride.

On Saturday, he tried to do a maneuver in that he released the handlebar, but he had bad luck because the motor turned off, due to the low rotation. After that, the jet was to a side and the pilot went for other, but he didn't give up of the search of more points and he went straight ahead in the competition, finishing in 5° place in the category.

The free ride is very recent for Diocélis, that began approximately one year ago. He found the excellent structure and the choice of the very good beach, it is a paradisiacal place. The foreign pilots, like Perre Maixent and Jeremy Philipis (Jimbo) they are reference for the competitor that plays: "when I grows I want to be the same to Jimbo ".

Who accompanied him in the championship the cousin Leandro Vieira, that competes in the two categories was and was the responsible person for his entrance in the free ride. The waves were of his pleasure, even on Saturday afternoon when had some wind and the sea was moved, which didn't harm the pilots' acting a lot in the end.

"We compete and finishes having a good time together. It is a sport that if you drop you are not hurted. Unless the jet drops on top of you", says he. The one that he sits down to the jet floor, when he is in the sea, making the maneuvers, tanning the moment, it is adrenaline, pure adrenaline.
