Direto da Espanha, Kalambre veio à etapa final do 7° Campeonato Mundial de Jet Waves 2005, de 25 a 27 de novembro, na praia da Villa, em Imbituba / SC, e ainda levou o título de campeão na Sit Down Amador.

Situada no extremo noroeste da Espanha, a cidade atlântica de La Coruña está sempre agitada. Museus. Fachadas de madeira e vidro, originando o nome de "Cidade de Cristal". A enseada é palco de regatas nacionais e internacionais de vela e de remo. No entanto, um atleta se destaca na região.

Cristobal Bejeiro, 32 anos, mais conhecido como Kalambre, nasceu em La Coruña, destinado ao Jet. Adepto do esporte há quatro, sua manobra preferida é o Superman (onde o piloto solta pés e mãos do guidom como se fosse voar). Entretanto, a mais desafiante, difícil mesmo, é a Barrel Roll (volta completa, de lado, também conhecido como touneau):

"Barrel Roll apresenta o maior nível, devido à grande dificuldade no pouso", explica.

Antes das disputas, Kalambre costuma treinar nas praias do país. Villarrube, perto de Pantin, onde é realizada a Competição de Surf Clássico de Pantin, é sua praia eleita, tanto para treinos quanto para diversão.

No início, o piloto enfrentou muitas barreiras, devido à questão financeira. O esporte permite que ele seja seu próprio treinador. O Jet Sky também o atrai pela dificuldade das manobras, e mesmo assim, ele consegue se adaptar facilmente, sem se machucar.

Sem um roteiro de alimentação especial, o piloto come de tudo. No momento, está sem patrocínio e aconselha a quem gosta do esporte, que faça, aproveite. Sensação de liberdade, ao lado da água.

Seu evento favorito de Jet é o Peniche, realizado em Portugal. Para ele, tem a melhor organização. Falando nisso...em 2004, Luis Centeno, representante de Portugal da IFWA, convidou-o a participar do campeonato Peniche Free Ride, segundo o piloto, onde terminou em segundo lugar. Este foi um dos mais importantes títulos de sua carreira, junto aos primeiros lugares em Zarautz (Espanha) e Imbituba (Brasil-SC) Até agora, seu currículo conta com sete disputas:

"No Brasil, conquistou o mais importante título, o de campeão mundial na categoria Sit Down Amador. Foi o maior desafio da minha carreira e o momento mais importante para mim no Jet", recorda.

Ao falar sobre a vinda ao país durante o campeonato, Kalambre é só elogios. Para ele, as pessoas são incríveis, a praia é linda e a organização do evento fez um ótimo trabalho. Palavras do próprio piloto. O encantamento foi tamanho que ele pretende voltar ao país.

From Spain, to Brazilian Waves

Directly from Spain, Kalambre came to the final stage of 7th Jet Waves World Championship 2005, in November from 25 to 27, at Villa Beach, in Imbituba / SC, and he till won the Sit Down Amateur Champion title.

In the beginning, the pilot faced many barriers, due to financial question. The sport avoids him to be his own coach. Jet Ski also attracts him by the maneuver difficulties, and exactly thus, he gets to adapt himself easily, without damaging his body.

Without an special meal guideline, the pilot eats all. At this moment, he's lacking sponsorship and he advises to whom likes Jet Ski to do it, enjoy the sport. Freedom sensation, beside the water.

His favorite event of Jet is the Peniche, in Portugal. For him, it has the best organization. Talking about it...in 2004, Luis Centeno, Portugal's Representative of the IFWA, invited him to participate in the Peniche Free Ride Championship, according to the pilot, where he finished in second place. This was one of the most important conquests in his carrier, together to the first places in Zarautz (Spain) and Imbituba (Brazil-SC). Since now, his resume counts with seven disputes:

"In Brazil, I conquered the most important title to me, the World Champion on Sit Down Amateur. It was the most challenge in my carrier and the best moment to me in Jet", he remembered.

On speech to his coming to the country during the championship, Kalambre is only compliments. For him, people are incredible, the beach is beautiful and the organization of the event did a good job. Words of the proper pilot. The enchanted was so great that he intends to come back to the country.
